Leh We Talk is pleased to invite applications for 5 Trustees to join our Board and support our mission to destigmatise mental health and wellbeing conversations across Sierra Leone.
Why Become a Trustee?
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction, governance, and sustainability of Leh We Talk. This is an opportunity to:

Make a meaningful impact on mental health awareness in Sierra Leone

Support a growing, youth-led organisation

Contribute your skills, experience, and perspective to a vital social cause

Gain governance and leadership experience within the NGO sector
Renumeration: All roles are voluntary and unpaid.
Time Commitment

One 2-hour online Board meeting every quarter

Approximately 2 hours of preparation (reading papers) per meeting

Term length: 1 year
Who We Are Looking For?
We welcome applications from individuals who:

Are passionate about mental health, wellbeing, and youth empowerment in Sierra Leone.

Share our commitment to reducing stigma around mental health.

Can contribute to good governance, strategic thinking, and accountability.

Are reliable, collaborative, and willing to actively participate.

Bring experience or interest in areas such as mental health, youth work, finance, governance, communications, fundraising, or community development.

Being based in, or having experience working in, Sierra Leone is desirable but not required.

Lived experience of mental health challenges is welcomed and valued but not required.
